SIX BOYS DROWNED

Press Association— Copyright. LONDON, July 9. A bathing tragedy occurred at Blackpool. Ninety-one boys belonging to St. Aiden's School were camping in the neighbourhood and the majority went in to bathe. Several of them were caught in th e receding tide. They threw up their arms a'ad shouted for help. Bystanders at first thought it part of the general merriment, arid when they realised the danger it was too late to rescue all. Six were drowned. Two were gallantly rescued.
