At the New Plymouth Opera House last night Lou Bloom, Ohio, U.S.A., sav e Tommy Donovan one of the hardest battles of his career. Bloom was weakened, a s a result of having to reduce his weight by 101 b. The Waltara boxer won comfortably on the points he scored over the concluding ronn'ds of the contest.
