NEW ZEALAND EXPERIMENT
BEETLE MAY SOLVTD PROBLEM
LONDON, June 24. At the entomological conference, attended by representatives of L's countries, Doctor Miller (New Zealand) said that Dominion ex-ports were testing a beetle from Southern France to exterminate blackberries. The Gotzc beetle could not lay eggs on raspberry bark and thus far it had been found only t« attack a species of rose which does not grow in New Zealand.
