TOTALLY DESTROYED
A DOUGLAS RESIDENCE. At 2.30 a.m. yesterday the residence of Mr. F. Reader, Douglas, wa,s totally destroyed by fire. Mr. Header was awakened by the sound of burning, and tho family made ;i hasty exit through a. window.
The place was then a furnace, aud though neighbours arrived quickly, they could do nothing to save the house and its contents, but they rendered help in saving the wash liouko and other out-buildings. The |buiWing and pomtents were in.sur.ed in the Ocean Accident Office. \ Re, prepared. Don't wait until too late. Insure with the Ocean Accident and Guarantee Corporation.
