The Huiroa School presented a ! Ka y appearance :.".st Friday evening j when a large number of children -u fancy drejss attended the annual juvenile's taney dress ball. The school was prettily decorated, in red and black by the senior scholars. The music for the children's dances was supplied by Airs Hawkes. At the conclusion of the children's dances the adults took the door., The music for the dance wajs supplied by Mrs J. Reid. Extras were J played :r. Mr Cleland. Messrs G. j and H. Mrs W. B. Martin (Stratford) recently spcut the week-end as the guest of Mrs Bray. Mrs Hawkes left last Saturday on a visit to Taliora.

Miss .Doris Stanford left on Monday to spend a holiday at Ruawai. Mr Les Wood, who has been an inmate of the Stratford Hospital

for several weeks, has returned homo.
