"■ T " KING’S THEATRE. “It’s si Grcat> Lite”, the Melro-Gohhvyii-ALv.vor pictuVe starring ilio Duncan Sisters nL the Ring's J hoatre. is an all-talking, singing and dancing film directed by Sam Mood and filmed with outstanding teehnice lour sequences. Local moviegoers have a groat thrill in store for them when they see and hear these genuinely groat musical comedy stars of the Loudon and New York stage. The new film incorporates a number of skilfully executed dance routines handled by Sammy Leo, who has received no little distinction as a result of his work in several Broadway musua'l comedy successes.. The Duncan Sisters, as usual, score with their songs. The music was composed by Dave Drover, responsible for “Mo and My Shadow’ - , “Rainbow ’Round My Shoulder” and other hits. Ballard MacDonald wrote the lyrics. “Trail of tlie Lonesome Pine” started him off on one of the most successful careers in the field of popular music. A very capable supporting cast is licaiLd by La vreu i.v Gray, and includes Benny Rubin and .led Prouty, tlio former being the Jewi-h comedian of ‘Marianne’, and the latter Dio ‘stuttering Uncle Bennie’ of ‘lhe Broadway Melody’.
