Miss G. Minnell and Mr. 1 Lint*, of Wanganui, are staying with Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Gaae over tlie Easter holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery left yesterday for their home at Springfield, Canterbury, after a visit to Air. Montgomery’s sister, Mrs. M. G. Trotter. The Hon. E. A. Hansom, Minister of Public Works, alnd Mis. Ransom, arrived in New Plymouth from, Wanganui on Thursday night- E n route from Wanganui the Minister met deputations at Patea and HaJwern. ou Power Board matters. He .will leave New Plymouth on Monday for Stratford, where he will probably spend the night. Mr. Ransom is due iu Palmerston North on Wednesday.
