DECLARING A COMMITTEE “BLACK.” Press Association —Copyright, WELLINGTON, This Day, Strong exception to the action of the Alliance of Labour in declaring “black,” the committee investigating the operations of the Workers’ Compensation Act has been taken by the Petone branch of the Amalgamated Engineers and, Allied Trades Union of Workers. In the course of a statement the Union declares that while the Alliance professes concern for the labour movement as a whole, it i|s in reality concerned only with its own organisation. \
