The Labour Party has been defeated in Western Australia. Tb© latest counting gives the combined aiitiLahour forces at least twenty-six seats. The state of parties is as follows ; Laboiyr 2B Nationalist 17 Country Party 9 Independent Country T Doubtful 1 Mr Thomson, Leader of the Country Party lost the Katanning seat. The collier administration, had been in power for six years.. This is the fourth Australian Government to be turned out of office since the BrucePage Federal Government failed on the arbitration issue less than six months ago. The Victorian and South Australian treasury benches were last to Labour.
