SIB GEORGE FENWICK’S WILL DUNEDIN, Oct. 1. Under the will of the late Sn George Fenwick the following legacies “ f „ public and clmntublc nature have been made: £350 to the » Prisoners’ Aid Society; £l5O to the Otago Society for the Prevention ol Cruelty to Animals; £l3O to tl.o Oc»oral Church Fund of the Clnireh of Dunedin; £l5O to the Ar Gallery Society (Inc.); £lod to bt. Mary’s Orphanage, Mornington. After certain events in the course or the administration of the estate have occurred, the following additional legacies will bo payable: £250 to the Dunedin Art Gallery Society (Inc.); £-'OO to the Patients’ and Prisoners ’, Am Society; £2OO to the Otago Society for the Prevention of Cruelty ' Animals, and £250 Mo the Gene raj Church Fund of the Anglican Church of Dunedin. It may be remarked that deceased was, during the course of his long lire a generous siibsc’ibor lo mnuy societies and bodies having for their objects the amelioration of the conditions of persons'affected by. distress or misfortune and for this reason his testamentary benefactions were limited to the above mentioned institutions, which lay especially close to his heart.
