GOOD WISHES FROM UNITED STATES SINCERE WELCOME AWAITS YOU (Received 9.15 a.m) WASHINGTON, October 3. President Hoover and Mr Stimson sent wireless greetings to Mr Ramsay MacDonald. Hr. Hoover said “as you near the shores of the United Staes I send to you a most cordial welcome, not only in my own name but on behalf of my fellow countrymen as well.” Mr Stimson’s message was “I send you my heartiest greetings on your approach to America where a sincere welcome and th© warmest hospitality awaits you.” —Australian P.A.
