FARMER'S DEATH
BODY FOUND IN GULLY.
EVIDENCE OF SUICIDE. Press Association —Copyright. CAMBRIDGE, This Day. George Middleton, a married mam,, with a wife and three children, a well-known farmer of Horarata, aged about 45 years, was found dead this morning in a gully about two hundred yards from his homestead with a rifle alongside him and a wound in the temple. The evidence points to suicide. Deceased was a son of Thomas Middleton,, of Auckland, and had been, missing since 11.30 a.m. yesterday. Letters found in deceased’s clothes showed he intended to take his life.
