MINIATURE RIFLES

The weekly shoot of the Stratford Miniature Rifle Club was last night. Though it was not as well attended as usual there was a fair number present. The shooting was excellent and possibles were numerous. Mr Knewstubb headed the list with 4, and J. Corlett was next with 2. Messrs Worthington and Seyb also scored 'all bullseyes on one occasion.

Team s representing the motor trade and Petrie’s Buildings were selected by Mr Knewstubb and Mr J. Corlett respectively. In the shoot-off Petrie’s Buildings won by 59 to 52. In a shoot between six-a-side teams chosen by Mr J. Corlett and Mr Pennial, the former team won by nine. At the end ot the shooting, supper was provideu by the members.
