BAROMETER RISING. The Govern meat Meteorologist (Dr E. Kidaon) telegraphs aa follows from Wellington:— The indications are for southerly winds, moderate to strong. The .weather will probably be cold and changeable, with some scattered showers, but improving. ' The barometer is rising slowly.
