ARMED MEN IN COUNCIL YARD
STOREMAN THREATENED. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Two men were accosted by a storeman in the city council's yard in Moorhouse Avenue early this morning and while one ran away the other threatened the storeman with a revolver if he reported anything of their visit. . The police apparently have some hope of tracing the men, who they believe have something to do with the incendiarism that ha 3 been rile in iue city of late. , The storeman and city, officials have been pledged t 0 secrecy and little can b e learned of the incident.
