A very enjoyable and well attended euchre party and dance in aid of the new hall was held at 1 the Foresters’ Hall on Tuesday night last. The ladies’ first prize, which was donated by Mr S. H. Wicksteed was won by Mrs wicksteed. The ladies’ second price, donated by Mr Drown, grocer, was j won by Miss Z. Aagaard, after playing off with Miss Knight, the third j prize going to Miss Knight.
