Mrs. Budge, president of the Women’s Division of the Banners’ Union, loft for ’Wellington 021 Monday with Mrs. Young, (secretary), to attend a general meeting of tlici movement. Air. and Mrs. C.■ Moore gave a very jolly little dance on Monday, the occasion being the celebration of their daughter (Miss Linda Aloorei’s) twenty-first birthday. The function was held in the ‘Medina’’ which was beautifully decorated for the party. Airs. Moore received her guests in a becoming gown of cornflower blue taffeta and georgette. Miss Linda wore a/ charming dawn pink satin frock and carried a little posic. She wore a diamond necklet, a. birthday gift. There iverei many novelty dances. Aliss Maxine ’Robson won the baloon dance with her partner, Air. Alajor. At supper there was much fun as “the guest” was presented with a large gold key of the door tied with 'tartan /ribbons. Aliss Linda Moore was toasted and Auld Lang Syne was sung. There were about 65 guests in all. The cake of course had its twenty-one candles which had to be lighted with much ceremony. The catering was in the capable hands of All’s. Douglas, and was all that couicl be desired. Alusical items were given by Alts. Carter (piano) and Aliss Rogers (violin). Aliss Burrows gave two very amusing recitations. Alnch pleasurable anticipation there is over the Stratford High School Old Pupil’s dance on next Tlmrs- \ day.
