LORD LLOYD ACCEPTS INVITATION TO RESIGN
LONDON, July 24, Mr. A. Henderson announced that Lord Lloyd had resigned the High Commissionership of Egypt, lie had previously written Lord Lloyd, based oil' his reading of Lord Lloyd's attitude towards the policy of the late Government. Mr. Churchill —Was resignation extorted? Mr. Henderson—My telegram was. of such a character as to he accepted as an invitation to terminate his position .—Australian P. A.
