DAIRY CONFERENCE
DELEGATES IMPRESSED. POSSIBILITIES OF KORTII. WHANGAREI, This Day. The delegates to the dairy conference were entertained at a smoke concert last night. , Over 300 people were present. Dr. Reakes, Messrs Morton, Grounds and others. Sympathised with' the latent possibilities of the north, which was destined to become one of the largest dairying producing areas in the Dominion.
Over ninety per cent, of the delegates are making their first visit and are astounded to find Whangarei so up to date and farming development so advanced in a district unknown to the majority o£ peo-i pie in the Dominion. The visitors were taken on motor excursions today.
