The dance held under the auspices of Stratford Old Girls' Hockey. Cluh at the Parish Hall last night was well attended despite the bad weather, numbers being present from other centres. On the stage a large kewpie was placed, decorated with the club colours, orange and royal blue, these colours being used ii the streamer decoration of the ceiling. Crossed hockey sticks adorned the walls'. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss M. Chong and Mr Pugh. Mr L. In* nis made a capable M.C. A. very dainty supper was provided by the jjadies. J ,*-*
