PRINCE OF WALES AND AUSTRALIAN TISIT. \r REPORT FROM SIDNEY. AUTHORITIES KNOW 3V01B"W (Received 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, June 2*5. In the course of an interview the of Wales' secretary stated: '"We do not know anything regarding the rumour from Sydney that Prince of Wales has been asked ito visit Australia in 1931. No invitation has been received. However, 1931 iS a long way distant. It l is surely premature." Asked if the visit was improbable lie answered: "No." The Colonial Office authorities emphatically discount the reports of the Prince of Wales' visit. They admit that it is possible, however, although at present it has not been arranged. That one of the younger Princes may visit Australia, but not solely to perform the bridge-opening,' might possibly ■■ be /■arranged, if the visit extended' to •other important functions.
