NEGLIGENT DRIVING CHARGE. ■'"' Ptobs Association —(Jopjrijjht. TE AROHA, This Day. Gordon Albert Manning was fined £SO for driving a motor negligently •without lights, and his license was cancelled for a year. The car 6n the night of October 4 last, collided with a motor cycle, whose rider, H. K, Anderson, is still in hospital through injuries. Accused denied a charge of neglecting: to render assistance, saying he was unaware he had struck anyone. ■ The Magistrate, Mr F. W. Platte, ordered part of the fine to be paid to the injured person.
