'XTOTICE is hereby given that at , a Special Meeting of the Stratford Borough Council held on the 17th day of June, 1929, it was resolved that the Council do, by Special Order under "The Municipal Corporation's Act, 1920, revoke Bylaws 1037 to 1041 (both inclusive) Part IX. of "The Stratford Borough By-laws, 1920" (providing for the registration and regulation of pre- : , mises used for "offensive trades"; within the Borough) and in substi- j tution therefor do make by-laws,the i objects ,and purport of which sub-, stituted By-laws are as follows:—, (1) Requiring all premises within the Borough used and intended, to be used for the carrying on of; any "offensive trade" or "cattle-1 saieyard" as: denned by ''The Health j Act,/ 1920" to be ■ registered' by the j .Council, prescribing the registration; -fee payable,,.and empowering the; •Council to refuse to .register and to! renew the .registration of any pre-; mises for any such purpose (2) Prescribing,the,term of such i registration, .the provisions as to, ; renewal ,,and providingj ,tftat any -premises! ,4n respect of,: which the fee payable on renewal: is not paid by the prescribed date;, .shall.be deemed to be unregistered; for,the purposes of "The Health' Act, 1920." -y '■■• ; v • i| (8) 'Prescribing conditions to observed on the change of owner-;! ship or occupancy of any such ..pre-;'

The- said resolution will be submitted, for confirmation as a Special Order ,-at .& further meeting of the Council ~to.be held at the Borough Council Chambers, Broadway, Stratford, on Monday the 15th day of July, 1929, at '8 o'clock p.m. A copy of the proposed By-laws is deposited at the office of the Council,. in Broadway, Stratford, where the same will be open for, public inspection during office hours until the said confirming meeting is held. .• "3 !
