LONDON PRODUCE MARKET.

LONDON, March 26

The position of the butter market continues unsatisfactory, chiefly on account 1 of the continued heavy shipments from Australia and New Zealand. The quantities afloat to the United Kingdom from Australia New Zealand and Argentine on March 21 were 699,000 boxes, which is 177,-

000 boxes more than in the corresponding period of 1925. Another depressing factor is the weakness of Danish owing to the lack of demand from Germany. In consequence Danish supplies to England have heavily increased, and the official quotation was lowered' this week by 25 kromer per hundred gilograms, the present value here being about 30s per cwt. lower than a year ago. FEILDING STOCK SALE. Levin and Co. Ltd. report on Feilaing sale of March 22 as under: We had a fair entry of sheep' and a moderate one of cattle. The. best pens of breeding ewes were, "freely competed for and prices 'vrero firm at late, rates. Store lambg were in better demand and prices were slightly in advance of recent quotations.
