A startling decision, not to vote in the fortucoming ballot on the strike but to burn the ballot ers in a public bonlire, was readied at a meeting oi timber workers and their wives ac tne Town Hall. The move received unanimous support from the Communists, who were present in strong numbers. A mass meeting of str liters will be convened when the strikers are expected to attend with t'lie papers, which will be destroyed. Communists of both sexes played a prominent part in the demonstration, speaking from tiiie platform, u:iU leading in the singing ot revolutionary songs.—Australian Press Assn.
