OTTAWA, March 20. Eighteen were killed, including 14 passengers, and five seriously injured in a head-on collision between two trains on the Canadian National Railway last night at Drocourt, near Parry Sound, Ontario.

( The trains were respectively east and west-bound for Torontlo and Winnipeg. The deaths occurred in the west-bound train, mostly in the Colonist sleeper which caught fire, cremating the bodies. The passengers had been asleep. The uninjured passengers reported heartrending scenes. A woman died calling for help for her child in the wreck. The death list may reach over 20.

C. E. Harcourt, a passenger, stated he saw several skulls and human hones burning. One woman screamed till she was burned to death. It was officially stated that 1 Train Three over-ran the switch.
