STRATFORD ATHLETIC CLUB.

The annual sports gathering of the Stratford Athletic Club, held yesterday on Victoria Park, was concluded shortly after the sc'hedul ed time, delays being very slight. A tbtal of 1300 people paid for admission, and they were provided
with good contests in all the races. The Stratford Citize%' Band an< the Pipe Band enlivened s9Pceedings with selections, and something of interest was going On all the time.
All the officials worked well, and a special word of praise is due to the secretary (Mr C. C. Johnston) and his assistant (Mr E. Owen).
