MONTHLY MEETING. *■ The monthly meeting of the. Taraiiiaki Power Board was held at Mtham on Monday. Present; Messrs H. G. Carman (chairman), W, H. Were, C. ■E, MoGuirmoss, T, R, R. J. Knuckey, J, T. Belcher*. J, Dob, son and C. Foreman. The Resident Engineer* (Mr B. H. Goldsmith) reported that the Radnor Road extension 1 had been completed and one transformer livened up. Poles had been laid on the balance of Pembroke. Road and Barclay Road, ami: erection work bad been, commenced. The report °f the finance committee

showed that the power fund account was in debit at last meeting to the extent of £7620, and with accounts to pass this debit was increased to £11,662, Amounts received since totalled £3BIO, leaving the account in debit by £7B-13 at the date of the pilescnt meeting.
