INVERCARGILL, Last 1 Night. The annual meeting of the Wyndham Trotting Club was hold to-day in very warm weather. There was a large attendance. The track was in. fast order. The totalisator handled £14,972. Last year the sum was £11,684. Results are: —•

Novice Handicap, one mile and a half. —2 Sunflre 1, 7 Larsen 2,2 Evening Sun 3. Won by tSvo lengths, half a length between second and third. Mountain Queen was fourth Times, 3min 38sec, 3mhi '49sec, 3miu 41sec. Ferry Saddle Handicap, one mile and five furlongs.-4 Dummy Bingen 1, 5 Royal Stan 2, 1 Kfyra 3. Won by three lengths, 70 yards between sedond and third. Merce Bingen was fourth. Times, 4min 3sec, 4 min 3 l-ssec, 3min 37sec.

Wyndham Club Handicap, two miles. —7 Storm Bell 1, 1 Fair Wave 2, 11 Sunshower 3. Won by five lengths, a length between second and third. Logan Hanlon was fourth. Times, 4min 41sec, 4rain 39sec, 4min 36 4-ssec. Edendale Handicap, one mile aU five furlongs.—l Morning Sun 1, U Lady Zita 2; 10 Bricklayer 3. Won by a head, two lengths between second and third. Won by four lengths, a head between second and third, guncross was fourth Times, Smin 34 2-ssec, 3min 36sec, 3min 83 2-ssec. Final Handicap, one mile and a quarter. —10 Sunchild 1,2 Morning Sun 2, 1 Logan Hanlon 3. Won by three lengths, half a length between second and third. Sunshower was fourth. The annual meeting of the Manawatu Trotting Club was Weld today on the Ashhurst course in perfect' weather. The track was good. There was a large attendance and the totalisator handled £8997 10s, which was £2BO 10s more than last year. Results are: — Ladies’ Bracelet Handicap, cue mile and a half.—3 Nelsonian 1, 4 Louie Dillon 2, “7 Electric Gold 3. Won by two lengths, five lengths between second and third. Time, grain 34 3-ssec. Linton Handicap, one mile and a half. —6 Louder 1, 9 Haviland 2, 3 Alton Brook 3. Won by a length and a half, three lengths between second and third. Time, 3min 52 4-ssec. Palmerston North Handicap, two miles.—3 Wild Lad 1, 1 Laurier 2, 2 Alton Brook 3. Laurier passed the post two lengths ahead of Wild Lad, with Alton Brook a further six lengths away, but 1 Laurier was disqualified for galloping. Wild Lad was awarded the race. Birkett was fined £5 for allowing the horse to
