The shooters at the Stratford Gun
Club’s meeting at Messrs Nelson and Green’s property yesterday were called on tor extra skill because of the
tricky wind conditions which prevailed. The results of the matches were; A. Nelson (18yds) 11; A. Coleman (17yds) 10, W. Jenkins (15yds) 10, H, Campbell (14yds) !J, 1). Green (17yds) 8, J. Lombard (16yds) 8, C. W. Ansford (15yds) 7. Second shoot of 1- birds. —C. W. Anslord (15yds) 11, A. Nelson (20 yds) 10, H. Campbell (14yds) 10, W. Jenkins (15yds) 10, A. Coleman (17 yds) 10, J. The following officers were elected;—President, Mr A. Wilson; ten vice-presidents; executive, Messrs A. Nelson, J. Petrie, 15. Green, A. Coleman, W. P. Jenkins, J. Lombard, A. E. Brown, F. Casey, treasurer, Mr J. Petrie; lion, secretary, Mr C. Grant; lion, '.cartridge steward, Mr iB. Green; lion, auditor, Mr G. A. Carter; referee, Mr H. Campbell. The membership fee was fixed at ss.
