, Owing to the large number of visiting firemen due t'o arrive here on Saturday, I)ie !r ail way department is arranging to run a special train through to Hokitika that afternoon for the convenience of visitors. The train will depart from Christchurch after the mail train, which it will overtake at Greymouth ami will be due here ab the ordinary time in the evening. ■'
