An accident occurred in Ithe neighbourhood of Te Puke yesterday, when a bus laden with passengers on its way to Rotorua, hit a bank, swerved, and went over a ten Wot drop landing on its end. The passengers were huddled, screaming, in a mass in front and, with the exception of the driver, Roberts, and an elderly Maori, Rihi Reihana, escaped without injury. The two injured men were brought to King George Hospital, and are reported to be doing well.
