TARANAKI ASSOCIATION. The executive of the Taranaki. (Ticket Association mot at Hawora last uigbt. Notification wan received that Taranaki’s request for a match against a Wellington team would he considered next Monday evening.
The chairman (Mr C. G. Jiottrill) stated that in the meantime lie had been negotiating with Waikato, who were anxious to play an annual fixture with Taranaki. It was decided to invite Waikato to play Taranaki at New Plymouth at Easter ami to abandon the idea, of a match with Wellington. Notice of motion by Mr Hughes that, in future, all meetings of the executive) he held at Stratford instead of alternately at New Plymouth and Haiwera, was referred to the next annual meeting of the executive for consideration. The matter of arranging the date of the provincial final between the winners of the northern and southern division competitions was left in the hands of the secretary.
