The weather is dull and threatening for the second day of the Wanganui J.O. Meeting, hut the attendance is larger than Thursday. The track is dry and fast. Results: — Okoia Hack Handicap.—2 Gasnapper (T. Webster) 1, 4 Acred 2, 1 Mister Gamp 3, AU started. Won by a neck and a lengtTT. Time, Imin 58 3-ssecs.

Harrison Handicap.—2 Joy • King (Tt. Reed) 1, 1 Partaga 3, 8 Imperial Spark 3. All started. Won by two lengths and a Lead-Time, Imin 49 3-ssecs.

Second Hurdles. —3 Crishna (Stratton) 1,2 Abisogne 2, 4 Jen 3. Scratched: Garzon, Good Sport. Won by three-quarters of a length; four lengths. Time, 2min 45 4-ssec. POVERTY BAY RAGES. The Poverty Bay Turf Club second <Say opened in ideal weather and in tli|o presence of a largo attendance. The tjrack is good.. Results.
