The remit to the coming conference suggesting a uniform charge of 12s per day was disapproved, the Board resolving that 9s, as now charged here, was sufficient. The Board authorised extensions and purchase of equipment at a total cost of £23,850, including £ISOO for a
junior doctor’s residence, £6OO for a laundarv and workshops.
In addition the Board passed plans for a maternity block to cost £12,000.
