KING’S THEATRE. “TOPSY AND EVA.” To'psy and Eva., tlio film version of winch was screened ah the King’s Theatre last night, is a burlesque, and a clever one at that, cm Unci© Toni’s Cabin. The Duncan B.sters who have made such a success in the main parts in the stage production in England are the stars, Miss Vivian Duncan has the straight part, of the sugary sweet Eva, which does not give her much opportunity for humour. Her sister who ( pla)ys JTopsy has the fun of tTie piece ail to herself, and her antics are screamingly funny." The picture boasts of a few sentimental moments, but they are quite subsidiary and the greater part is given over to comedy of the more virile variety. ft is an excellent film in every way and, provides a splendid evening’s entertainment.
