THE STRATFORD SOCIETY. MEETING OF COffiirTTEß. A meeting of the committee of the Stratford Acclimatisation Society was held last night. Mr. J. Kivell and E. -Worthington. , PROPOSED AMALGAMATION In reference! to the abortive negatiationsf for the Amalgamation of the three societies the following motion was passed; That the action of the Stratford delegates in deciding not to continue with the proposal for amalgamation, .because of the refusal of the New Plymouth delegates to abide by the resolutions passed at a combined meeting of delegates representing the three societies, that the headquarters he at Stratford, bo confirmed.
