KING'S THEATRE.
"FLAYING STRAIGHT."
"What is the secret of success in motion pictures?" asked a visitor at the Columbia Pictures' studio during the making of "Playing Straight," which will he shown at the King's Theatre to-night only. The action requires a number of types, some extremely beautiful and others just the opposite. The roles are so varied and require so much skill that 1 several members of the cast have been featured. These include Bobby Agnew, Pauline Garon, Ben Turpin, Rex Lease, Churchill Ross, and Joan Standing.
In reply to the query as to the ' secret of success each member made a brief reply.
"Strength, athletic prowess, and good looks," replied Bobby Agnew. "F'ccus your attention on a single point," said Ben Turpin. "Manliness and personality," added Rex Lease. "A wan, pinched figure and funny appearance," corrected Churchill Ross. "Beauty and style," advised Pauline Garon. "Freckles and plenty of them," exclaimed Joan Standing. As each one was referring to his or her particular case and the qualifications for the individual success were different, the inquirer left the set feeling that about any asset or liability a person might.possess was the key to success, provided the individual had the ability to capitalise on it.
