SHOOTING OF PAPUAN NATIVES

The, Pr.ime Minister has received a report from the Administrator of Papua upon the shooting of three natives on December 12, when a patrol came into clolision with the, natr ives near Mount. Gule. The Assistant Resident Magistrate "held an inquiry and he expressed the opinion that the firing appeared to be justified, no blame being attachable to the police. —Australian P.A.
