Strained relations between Bis Wop Cherrington and Dean Barnett culminated a fortnight ago in the Bishop asking the Dean to resign. The Dean declined,;, and the matter was referred to a Commission of Churchmen. It is reported the Bishop agreed to accept the commission's decision. The cause of the dispute is not published.
