Ho was found with his head inside a gas stove with a blanket, covering the stove and his head. Mills was a widower with four children; ho had complained of feeling unwell and appeared worried over the possibility of leaving his children fatherless. At the inquest a verdict of suicide hy gas poisoning was returned.
