BREAK-UP , ENTERTAINMENT. 'Hie Wharehuia Hal] was filled to capacity on Wednesday evening on the occasion 'ofHtho aimifa*' breakingup ceremony of the Wharehuxji; School. Exliibitions were given by the pupils, whose training had been supervised! by Miss Bayly (headmistress) and Miss Godfrey (assistant mistress).

Master Led Pittams acting as M.C. for the children's dunces, while Mr Peter Bot%<acted \ n a similar capacity for' the adults. Mr Reg. Wellington, chairman of the School Committee, presided over the gathering, and introduced Mr W,. J. Poison M.P., who distributed tbie prizes land certificates won diiiihg the year. Mr Pcjson congratulated the teachers and pupils on a successful year.
