STRATFORD SALE. Messrs Newton King Ltd. report: There nLs a. good yarding of cattle in the store pens at our Stratford sale on Tuesday. The following prices were Realised ; —Fait cows from £9 tcij£9 14s, forward condition cows £5! Ids to' £6 6s, unsound bulls £6 15s to £8 15s, empty two year old/ heifers up to £9 6s, yearling heifers up to £7. In they Jersey pens there was a medium' y) rding, the whole of widen sold at satisfactory /prices. Springing heifers brought up-, ■to £ls, calved heifers from £7 5s to £l3 19s, cal ved , cows £9. to £ll, yearling pedigree Jersey bulls £9 9s to £1.3 lAi and those of a poorer quality £5 15s to £B.
