„ NEW STRATFORD CLUBS. OFFICERS ELECTED. - A meeting of the newly-formed Stratford Old Pupils Amateur Swimming Club was held last night, Air V. J. Henderson presiding. The following officers were elected • Patron, M r W. J. Poison, AI.P President, Air F. Bowler; nine vicepresidents were elected; Honorary Secretary niid Treasurer, Air J. Callaghan; Club Captain, Mr G. R. Fcokes; Executive Comm ittee, Messrs T. J. .1 iemler-.on, C. Grd.b, AI. Thompson, N. Johnson, and A. Carter; Delegate to Centre, Air W J. Henderson; Starter, Air W. Power; Auditor, Mr D. Young; timekeeper, Air C. Rowson. The following subscriptions were decided upon: For senior and honorary members ss, for ladies an t ( jan. ior members under 18 years of age 2s 6d and) for primary school ( hi! im Pd. ’ It was decided, th,at, if possible, two swimming carnivals be held during the coming season. The committee then met and it was decided that the first club night should be held! on December 18th.
