OUTBREAK IN AUSTRALIAN TOWN J J VOLUNTEERS FIGHT FLAMES. (Received 10.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. A Werris Greek message states that tWo premises were, gutted by a fire and .'severajl other; shops were badly damaged. Volunteers under the direction of the police, fought the flames with axes and buckets, ©to., and eh poked the Hko from spreading. The damage is estimatedat £IOOO.
