WAIKATO MARKET REPORT. The Farmers’ Co-op. Auctioneding Co., Ltd., Hamilton, report: Beef. The market continues firm for both prime ox and cow beef, lest ox making equal to 44/- per lOOlba. and cow and heifer up to 38/-. We are likely to see prices slightly easier during this month. Fat Sheep—Prices are still good for both woolly and shorn sheep, but with the number of shorn sheep offering prices will be easier, especially for shorn ewes. Store Sheep—There is a good inquiry for all classes of stores, but owing to the continued wet weatnei sellers are unable to finish shearing, and not many vendors are quoting. Store Cattle.—There is still a very strong demand for all male cattle, .with very few offering. Good store cows and yearling Jersey and Jersey Cross heifers are also meeting with strong competition. Dairy Cattle.—Although late in the season high prices continue for both good cows and springing heifers. Pigs.—Heavy yardings of both fat and store pigs are coming forward, baconers and porkers making equal to 5 l-4d lb. There is also a good demand for big stores. Prices for weaners and slips have improved considerably during the last few weeks. Horses. —There is a demand for good useful farm horses, but heavy horses and the light class are ,not wanted.
