Hansen presided at the nineteenth annual. meeting .of the Taranaki Centre of the New Zea and Cycling Um<m UMd "’at '’Strafford yesterday,, and the following delegates were also present: Messrs Patterson (Manaia), Schumacher jMiclhirst), South ami Des George (New Plymouth), A ?ococlci(Kapcnga), Aroa (Auroa), Lyon CWait'ui),' Were, (Toko), Grigg Ratapiko), Julian (Te Kliri), Nuttall (Eltham), T. Kirkwood and Young (Stratford), and A. Melville (secretary). . The chairman welcomed the delegates saying that he was very pleased to see such a large attendance, especially from northern Taranaki, which, during the P ast tew years, had rot been very .well- represented at the annual meeCnys . The executive had run the •Sports programme at Eltham on heffialf of the Caledonian Society, with ;thc assistance of the Eltham Ath.’letic Club, and the results obtained •ihad been very pleasing to the society.
