PRESENTATIONS TO TEACHER

AIR HANCOCK’S DEPARTURE

A presentation was made at tire Stratford Primary School yesterday to Mr R. L. Hancock, who has been a teacher at the school for the past four years and who is leaving Stratford to take up the position of sole teacher of the Makaka School. Tho Headmaster, Mr L. J. Furrie on behalf of the staff, presented Mr Hancock with la handsome weather glaisis. The speaker made eulogistic) reference to Mr Hancock’s services both in. and out of school, with special reference to jus enthusiastic efforts on behalf of the school fife band, and wished him every success in his new appointment.
