CONSTITUENTS’ AFFECTION. REMARKABLE DEMONSTRATION INVERCARGILL, Oct. 30. Affection of the people Tor Joseph Ward vented itself in loud and continued cheering ot Mr Master’s meeting last night, increasing in volume when .Sir Joseph’s daughter ascended the platform. Tit much out the meeting this spirit prevailed, applause breaking out at every mention of the United Leader’s name. After the address, in which he trenchantly criticised' the Government, and nhly expounded) the United nolicv. the speldmr' was accorded a hearty vote of thanks and confidence, which was carried' with continued tumultuous applause. ! ‘moi’ lie's a Joilv viced Fellow.” twice repeated, concluded one of the moist enthusiastic political meetings ever held here.
