SPLENDID SPRING BLOOMS
SHOW, AT TOWN HALL. EXCELLENT ENTRIES There is very fine- show of Bowers at tho'Towni Hall for the annual exhibition of the Stratford Horticultural Society, which opened this afternoon. Entries are good in all classes, and the quality of the blooms is surprisingly good considering the kind or weather experienced lately. Very special displays of daffodils are made by Messrs Gibson and Waitman. The daffodils in the competitive classes are of a high order of met it, and are worthy of any show in the country. The hyacinths on exhibition are a fine; lot. A| striking display of rhododendrons is made by Mrs W. Cork ill, no less than forty varieties being shown. The class for cut Bowers is a.strong one, and the, decorative class is well filled. Tipis evening a talk on flower cnV ture will lie given by the judge, Mr. "Whitman,. THE PRIZE LIST.
